This policy explains how Christmas Roof Lights LLC ("Christmas Roof Lights," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit christmasrooflights.com, ask for a quote, text, email or call us, or become a customer. We design, install, service, take down and store residential Christmas lights in Springfield, Nixa, Ozark and nearby communities in Missouri.

Information you give us

Contact details: your name, street address, mobile number and email address.
Home details: how tall your home is, the rooflines you want lit, and anything else you tell us about the job.
Photos and messages you send us by text or email, and what you tell us on a phone call.
Consent records: the consent wording you agreed to, the date and time, the page you were on, your IP address and your browser or device type.
Booking and payment details: your quote, install and takedown dates, and payment status. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Information we collect or create

Property imagery. We look up your address with Google Maps Platform (satellite, aerial and Street View imagery) to measure your roofline remotely.
Mockup images. We use AI image tools to create a picture of your home lit up, based on that imagery or photos you send.
Call recordings and transcripts. See "AI and call recording" below.
Website and ad data. The pages you visit, the ad or link that brought you (for example UTM tags and click IDs such as gclid or fbclid), any referral code you used, your IP address, and your browser and device type.

How we use information

To measure your home and prepare your mockup and quote.
To answer your questions and schedule and perform your install, service calls, takedown and storage.
To send you updates and reminders about your quote, booking, install and payments.
To process deposits and payments.
To send seasonal offers and renewal reminders by text (only if you agreed to texts) or by email (you can unsubscribe at any time).
To learn which ads and pages work, and to improve our website and service.
To keep records of consent and opt-outs, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with the law.

AI and call recording

When you call us, your call may be answered by an AI voice assistant instead of a person. Calls may be recorded and transcribed, and a summary may be created, so we can handle your request, follow up with you, and check the quality of our service. If you would rather speak with a person, say so on the call or email us at hello@christmasrooflights.com.

We also use AI tools to measure rooflines, create mockup images, and help our team draft replies to texts and emails. The AI providers we use process this information on our behalf to provide those services to us.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We share information only with:

Installation crews working for us, who receive your name, address and job details so they can do the work.
Service providers that help us run the business and may use your information only to provide services to us: Twilio (text messages), Resend (email), ElevenLabs (AI voice calls), Google (maps, satellite and Street View imagery, and AI tools), OpenAI (AI tools), Stripe (payments) and Cloudflare (website hosting and security).
Advertising platforms. When our ad measurement tags are turned on, Meta and Google receive information about your visit to our pages, such as the page viewed and whether a form was submitted, so we can measure our ads.
Legal and safety. When required by law or legal process, to protect our rights or others' safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.

Text messaging and mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Sharing with subcontractors that support our services, such as customer service or text-message delivery, is permitted. All of the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Cookies and ad tracking

rl_sid keeps our team and crews signed in. It is not set for customers browsing the site.
rl_ab… remembers which version of a page you saw when we are testing two versions.
rl_ref remembers a referral code from a friend's link.
When turned on, the Meta Pixel and Google tag set their own cookies to measure our ads.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can limit ad personalization in your Google Ad Settings and your Facebook ad preferences.

Your choices

Texts: reply STOP to any text to stop them. Reply HELP for help.
Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. We will still send transactional emails about a quote or booking you have with us.
Calls: tell us on a call, or email us, if you do not want us to call you.
Access, correction and deletion: email hello@christmasrooflights.com to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it. We may need to confirm your identity, and we will respond within 30 days. We may keep information the law requires or allows us to keep, such as payment records and records of your consent or opt-out.

How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. For customers, that is while you lease lights from us and afterward as needed for tax, accounting and warranty records. If you ask for a quote but do not book, we keep your information so we can follow up in a future season, unless you ask us to delete it. We keep records of consent and opt-outs for at least four years so we can show we honored your choices. Call recordings are kept only as long as useful for handling your request and quality checks.

Security

Our website and hub are served over encrypted connections (HTTPS), access is limited to our team and the crews assigned to your job, and sensitive keys are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

Our service is for homeowners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top, and if the change is significant we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
